Whether you’re looking for some general health and wellbeing advice, or you require some more tailored support, you’ll find everything you need on our Student Wellbeing webpages.
This page highlights some of the individual services and resources that you may find useful as you begin your journey at the University of Nottingham.
Our Support and Wellbeing Service offers practical advice and guidance with everything related to your wellbeing. They can refer you on to specialist services, counsellors and mental health advisors who can offer you more specialist advice or provide information about other local wellbeing services you can access.
Support and Wellbeing Service
Once you have registered and activated your university email address, you will be able to access MyWellbeing (part of your online Student Life hub) - the university’s home for proactively engaging with wellbeing support in one single location. MyWellbeing empowers you to manage and book appointments, sign-up for events and workshops, and access our library of resources.
Student Life hub
HealthyU is our student health and wellbeing programme, run by the Health Improvement team. They’re here to support your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing through a variety of resources and activities. These include the HealthyU website, events (such as Wobble Week) and resources (such as the University Life guide and Wellbeing Guide). They can also offer advice on a range of topics, including mental health, eating well, keeping active and relationships.

Our health service offers NHS primary care and GP services. As well as standard GP and nurse-led services, we have specialist clinics and services including counselling, self-help resources, exam and assessment stress, sexual health, mental health, sports and exercise medicine, travel and dermatology.
University of Nottingham Health Service
Our Disability Support Services help to create an inclusive and equitable teaching and learning environment for all students. They provide Support Plans with reasonable adjustments for your teaching and assessments, and advise on concerns around long term and permanent conditions. Let us know if you have a disability, mental health condition, long-term medical condition, autistic spectrum condition, or a specific learning difference.
Disability Support Services
Our Chaplaincy and Faith Support service offers support to students of any faith and none. They help you practice your faith and engage with faith communities, as well as providing a listening ear for anyone who needs it.
Faith support
The university is dedicated to ensuring we do all we can to provide a safe and supportive environment. Our campuses are a pleasant and inclusive place to study and work but, as with any community, we understand that issues can sometimes arise.
If you have experienced, or witnessed, a significant incident you can tell us about this and access support by using our Report + Support service.
