Manuscripts and Special Collections

We collect, care for, and provide access to the University of Nottingham's collections of archives, rare books and printed items, and the Museum of Archaeology.

Manuscripts and Special Collections will be temporarily closing from 8 June to 9 August 2026. This is to allow for the relocation of the Reading Room and staff offices within KMC. The Reading Room will be closed throughout with no access to archives or library collections. There will also be considerable disruption to our enquiry and copying services.
